The People’s Project
Mutual Aid Network for LA County 🤝
Branding + Strategy + Design
Block by block, The People’s Project is working across Los Angeles to scale mutual aid and ensure the everyday needs of our community are met. It’s building and scaling the capacity for organizers, volunteers, and neighbors to connect communities to rental assistance, food aid, financial literacy, workforce training, childcare, and more.
The needs of our community are many—and when the systems and institutions tasked with providing that aid fail—it’s up to us to step up. The People’s Project is a groundbreaking effort to empower communities through mutual cooperation in South and Southeast LA.
OUR MISSION:
To become the largest mutual aid network in LA history and reimagine community support for a new generation.
YEAR ONE RESULTS :
6,400 PEOPLE SERVED IN LA COUNTY. Needs are being met daily.

By the hand Club
20 YEARS OF POSSIBLE CAMPAIGN
What began in 2001 with just 16 kids from Cabrini-Green, Chicago, has now grown to impact over 6,000 children nationwide, offering each one the opportunity for a brighter, more fulfilling future. What started as a single location has expanded to five—and soon six—across some of Chicago’s most underserved neighborhoods.
I’m deeply honored to have partnered with the Chicago-based agency OX for Good to share By the Hand Club’s 20-year journey. Through a heartfelt and powerful campaign that spanned social media, broadcast, and in-person events, we were able to capture a collection of stories filled with care, resilience, and triumph. These stories beautifully reflect the spirit and impact of By the Hand Club over the last two decades.
